Rentals of RVs on Barter/Trade :
What can you rent on barter/trade?
Class A and Class C motor homes, travel trailers, and pop-up campers.
How does it work when renting on barter/trade?
We offer a waiting list for barter/trade requests only. All barter/trade rentals are on a standby basis only. “Standby” means a specific RV may only be selected 48 hours before departure. You can choose a preferred RV, and if available 48 hours before your rental, you would get that RV. However, if your preferred RV is booked, you would have to select a different RV out of the available RVs 48 hours before departure. Black-out dates & units can apply.
When are the days available to rent on barter/trade?
Barter/trade rentals are available April-October only and are not permitted from November through March. All rentals are based on an afternoon (1PM-4PM) pick up Monday - Friday. No Saturday or Sunday pick ups. Returns are based on a 10AM return time. Returns on Saturday or Sunday are allowed (key drop), but rate will be for a Monday morning return.
What portion is barter/trade?
The regular basic rental rate (or accommodation total when looking at prices on our site) is the only thing available to put on barter/trade. Please note the prices shown on our website are based on a 10% discount for payment in cash. Using barter/trade would lose this discount. Meaning your amounts will be higher than the prices shown on our site due to the loss cash discount.
Are there maximums or minimums for barter/trade?
There is a three-week maximum during April & May with a $3,000 maximum on barter/trade. There is a one-week maximum June through October with a $2,000 maximum on barter/trade. We have a 3 night minimum rental period. Weekends are locked into 3 nights (Friday-Monday) holiday weekends are locked into 4 nights.
What is cash and not on barter/trade?
Things like extra days, values over maximums, mileage, insurance, gasoline, propane, tax, options, damages, etc. are all cash.
What barter/trade companies do you work with?
Third party barter/trade companies we accept are Itex, iTrade Pay, and TBT Barter.
Please note we do not do any sales, parts, or service on barter/trade, rentals only.
